The Red Deer General Investigation Section has released new charges related to the anti-racism protest that took place in Red Deer on September 20th, 2020.

29-year-old Taylor McNallie of Calgary has been charged with assault with a weapon. She is scheduled to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on November 10th, 2020.

The Alberta RCMP reminds citizens that they have the right to peacefully demonstrate. However, unlawful behavior will not be tolerated. The role of police is to ensure that those who unlawfully interfere or threaten the safety of any person or property will be held accountable with the laws of Canada.
