There were minor injuries to one driver after a collision occurred at the intersection of 51st Ave and 51st street in Lacombe Wednesday morning.

It appears that the driver the red car was turning left on 51st ave, when it was hit by the white car heading east.

Although the impact was small, the jaws of life had to be used to distract the driver of the red car, as the driver's door was pressed in.

Emergency crews were on scene for less than an hour.
