Serving as a paramedic in his community for the last 13 years, and 20 years total in EMS, David White has served in pre-hospital emergency services in Alberta as well as British Columbia for almost 30 years, serving a number of communities, including Indigenous Peoples of First Nations.

White is a strong supporter of individual rights for all, including members of the LGBTQ2+ community. Although this is his first time running for office, the small business owner feels his experiences would make him the ideal candidate to represent the Maskwacis-Wetaskiwin riding.

Here are some of the things he promises to do if he gets elected, according to his website, DavidwhiteforFCPA.org:

  • Eliminate the party whip
  • Recall mechanism
  • Annual town halls
  • Revoke the carbon tax
  • Tax reform
  • Rebuild Alberta’s energy sector
  • Alberta equal rights
  • “The” referendum
  • Education funding
