STARS Air Ambulance landed in a rural area southeast of Penhold yesterday afternoon (Aug 22nd) following a crash between a grain truck and vehicle. 

It happened shortly after 5, east of the QE2, at range road 262 and township road 362. 

Innisfail RCMP say a grain truck was exiting a driveway and was hit by an oncoming pick-up truck. 

The 67 year old man driving the grain truck was airlifted in serious but stable condition to the Foothills in Calgary. 

The 16 year old driver of the pick-up sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
