On May 20, 2018 members of Lacombe Police arrested an adult female, 31-year-old Kelly Manson of Red Deer, during a routine traffic stop. Police seized about $3000 worth of illegal drugs including; Fentanyl, GHB, heroin, cocaine, Oxycontin and Percocet.
Manson was charged with seven counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Weapon Dangerous to Public, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Manson was held for bail hearing and later released on a recognizance with $3000 no cash bail.
The past few weeks have seen an increase in stolen vehicles in the Lacombe area and along with the vehicle thefts also an increase in Criminal Flight from Police. 
Police would like to remind drivers that most car thieves are looking for easy opportunities so please do not leave your keys in your vehicles. If you own an older model vehicle with no electronic security features we recommend using steering wheel locking devices or have an electronic security device installed on your older model vehicle
