If you don't have plans to get outside today, make some.

A meteorologist with Environment Canada says today is the last day of spring like temperatures.

Lisa West encourages you to get out and enjoy the weather while it lasts.

"Today unfortunately is going to be your last day of those nice temperatures. In the Red Deer area we still have high's of plus 5, but that sytem is now going to move off to the East so we'll move back to some more seasonal temperatures."

Temperature records have been set in many communities in Central Alberta over the last 3 days according to Lisa West

"In Lacombe on January 18th, you guys hit 9.7 degrees, which beats the previous record of 7.9 set in 2009. In others areas, Sundre on January 17th hit 13.9 degrees, beating the 10.3 record set back in 2013. And in Rocky Mountain House on January 17th his 14.5 degrees beat the 1976 record of 11.7 degrees."

Seasonal temperatures for January are -10, and around -7/-8 for February.
