From Lacombe Police service:

On February 26, 2019 the Lacombe Police entered into an investigation after it was reported that an adult male had been recruiting youth to assist in the sale of illicit substances. 

A number of youth reported being threatened and intimidated into the selling and consuming illicit drugs. 

26-year-old Alexander wade Pollard of Lacombe, has been charged with the following 8 criminal offences:

  • Intimidation of a minor – 2 (two) counts
  • Harassing communications – 3 (three) counts
  • Uttering threats – 3 (three) counts

Pollard is scheduled to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court March 29, 2019

“The Lacombe Police will be targeting any and all involved in the sale of illicit substances in the city of Lacombe and area”, states Constable Vaughan Bleasdale.

“Police would like to remind the public to remain vigilant and call in any suspicious activity and that the Lacombe Police are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week”
