A Donor Wall of Fame was unveiled as Lacombe Big Brothers Big Sisters opened the doors of their new Bamford House location to the public at an open house event last night (Nov 9th).

Current Big Sister Marti Ingram is very pleased with all the work that's been done to transform the former Kent house for the program, and make the move from the provincial building downtown "it's much more comfortable than the last space, there's lots more storage for them, lots of room to grow, and it has a homey feeling, it's nice and warm and a great place to be"

Ingram says they continue to work hard to reach their goal of becoming mortgage free with ongoing fundraisers "lanlord of the month event happening, so if there's anyone interested in being the landlord of the month they can come talk to Crystal at Big Brothers, we're doing an ongoing garage sale as we slowly clean out some of the items that are stored in the garage so check out our facebook page for that, we've got some raffle tickets going on, lots of stuff happening here".

Former little in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program in Lacombe, Gord Bamford stepped up as a title sponsor for the organizations new home.

They still need to raise nearly 150 thousand dollars to reach their mortgage free goal.
