Update: Innisfail RCMP are pleased to update that Bobby Bastermeyer has been located, safe and well.  Appreciation goes out to the media and the public who were instrumental in helping to locate him, as well as CASARA, SAR and the RCMP Police Dog Service.

 
From Innisfail RCMP:
 
The Innisfail RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in locating 58 year old Bobby Bastermeyer, a developmentally disabled male.
 
Bastermeyer was last seen on January 22, at 1900 hrs when he ran from his careworkers at a rural location near Range Road 273 and Township 360 in Red Deer County, this location is NE of Innisfail Alberta.
 
Bastermeyer loves animals and in the past has sought out farms with animals or attempts to travel to the Zoo either in Calgary or Innisfail Alberta.
 
Bobby Bastermeyer is described as:
  • 58 years of age
  • Developmentally disabled
  • 5'8"
  • 200 lbs
  • Gray Hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Scar on Forhead, Scar on Upper cheekbone
  • Wearing a Black Jacket, toque, winter boots, gloves, carrying a rainbow basketball
