On September 22, 2016, Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to an armed robbery with a firearm at bar that had occurred in Caroline, Alberta.

Two adult males entered the establishment wearing masks.

One culprit armed with bear spray and the other with a firearm. The robbers stole an undisclosed amount of money.

During the robbery, two patrons received minor injuries in the incident when they were sprayed in the face with the bear spray.

After a lengthy investigation, Rocky Mountain House RCMP's General Investigation Section has charged 33 year old Jonathan Donnelly, a resident of Delburne, Alberta, with robbery with a firearm, disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence, and several breach of Recognizance conditions.

DONNELLY is in custody and is scheduled to appear in court today to speak to his charges.

The RCMP are still diligently investigating the matter and to date have not identified the 2nd suspect in this serious crime.
