Town of Blackfalds latest update from March 20th, 2020.

Much like other municipalities, almost all events happening at the Abbey Centre, the Civic Centre, the Multiplex Arena, and Community Centres are either cancelled or postponed to a later date.

Also, starting Monday, March 23rd, the solid waste management contractor for Blackfalds will be pick up waste and recycling together in order to make just one pass down the alleys.

Meaning, you may dispose of your recycling into your waste bin, and it will not be separated. However, do not use your blue recycling bin for waste to avoid contamination once normal pick up resumes.

The Transfer Station will remain open and operate as usual, as will the Bark Park.

More information for the Town of Blackfalds can be found here.
