For the second time in less than a week, an earthquake measuring more than 4.0 on the Richter scale has hit Central Alberta. At 4.00 Am this morning, Earthquakes Canada issued a report saying that an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred 32 km NW of Rocky Mountain House.

There were no reports of any injuries, power outages,  or damage but the tremor was felt by many in the surrounding area.

This is the second earthquake in 7 days  to happen in Central Alberta. Early Monday morning a magnitude 4.6 earthquake struck south of Sylvan Lake and 19 kms west of Red Deer.
