A public questioning forum is being held on April 3rd at the LMC with local politicians.

It's your chance to quiz Ron Orr with the UCP, Myles Chykerda with the Alberta Party, and Doug Hart with the NDP about the upcoming election and their party's policies.

Monica Bartman, Executive Director of the Lacombe Chamber of Commerce says this event is great for voters who need to focus on what policies affect them personally.

“What’s even better than just simply voting is to make an informed vote, so to know what is important to you as a resident and to seek out those priorities in the parties that are running.”

Bartman says this is a perfect chance to really get to know those that are representing our area.

“One thing that is always really challenging when you are voting for people is that sometimes personalities can get in the way and can overshadow what is most important and that’s the policies.”

The event will begin at 7 O'clock down at the Lacombe Memorial Centre and they will take questions from the public all evening.
