From Lacombe Police Service:

At approximately 930p.m., on March 7, 2019 the Lacombe Police Service conducted a search warrant of a residence in the 5100 block of 49 street, Lacombe, as a result of an ongoing investigation under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. 

As a result of the search warrant, police were able to obtain quantities of methamphetamine, cash and prohibited weapons including a tazer and nunchucks from the residence.

Other evidence was also seized.  

51-year-old Donald Sherman Dorsay, of Lacombe, has been charged with the following 4 criminal offences:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine – 1 (one) count
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon – 2 (two) counts
  • Possession of property obtained by crime – 1 (one) count

Dorsay is scheduled to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court April 1, 2019
