From Rocky Mountain House RCMP:

The Rocky Mountain House RCMP have laid charges against four adults following an attempted armed robbery of the Caroline GTI station, and a subsequent pursuit, on April 10.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., a priority call was dispatched to the RCMP.  A male brandishing a knife entered the GTI and demanded cash.  He fled on foot, cashless, when an employee yelled at him.  Three other subjects fled in a vehicle, later determined to be stolen out of Blackfalds.

The responding Rocky Mountain House RCMP members located the vehicle driving erratically and a pursuit ensued.  A Sundre RCMP member attended and provided assistance.  The pursuit terminated near Sundre’s area and three vehicle occupants were arrested with no further incident.
