The Blackfalds Wranglers fell 5-4 to the Airdrie Thunder in Game 3 on Sunday.

Blackfalds’ Brody Bolton tied the game with 1:27 left in the third period, only for the team to give up the eventual game-winner 10 seconds later.

On Tuesday, they will try to stave off elimination in their best-of-five series.

“This is a great series. You’ve got two teams that are super close and super competitive and have a little hate for each other. Any mistake could cost you,” said head coach Sean Neumeier.

If the Wranglers can force Game 5, it would take place Friday in Airdrie.
