After suffering a few losses and a forfeited game after Christmas, the Generals are getting back on track with another win. On Saturday night, the Generals played against the Rosetown Redwings.

No goals were scored in the first period but the game heated up in the second. The Redwings and Generals were able to tie the game 2-2 heading into the third period. In the third period, the Generals held their own scoring two more goals leading them into a win of 4-2. Shots on net were 44-30 for the Generals.

Goals were scored by Brennan Evans, Kyle Ross, Levi Nelson, and Stephen Phee. Levi Nelson commented on the win saying, “The last couple games have been a good example of focusing on our start, getting our legs going, and getting ourselves into the game. Obviously, they are a good hockey team over there, but there’s no easy game in this league. We took the full sixty, but we got the two points. ”

The last home game before playoffs will be on February 1st at 8:00 pm at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex.
