Tonight it's the 11th game of the season for the Lacombe Generals but their first at home.

The Generals lead the Chinook league at 9 wins and 1 loss.

Head Coach Curtis Austring says the team is excited for tonights game "we're hoping that we can fill the arena with fans who are excited to see some good hockey, I think they will be pleasantly surprised with the competitiveness of it, the skill level of the players.  Really it is a comparable version to professional hockey, we have a lot of guys that play at the pro level".

The Generals finish up the season with 11 of their next 12 at home which Austring says they're very excited for "getting on the road and having bus trips and getting some extra time together to get to know eachother was beneficial for us, but we're certainly looking forward to having some games in our home rink in front of our home fans here, so we're excited to see everyone come out and enjoy the game."

Tonights game at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex starts at 8.

You're asked to enter the doors on the Northwest corner of the facility as renovations are not yet complete on the main entrance.
