Lacombe Composite's boys soccer team took a 1-0 lead into the second half but couldn't hold on for the victory against Hunting Hills.

The Lightning scored three late goals to take the match 3-1 at MEGlobal Athletic Park.

"We had a really good game until the last five minutes there and they just ran out of steam, I think," said Rams head coach Tracy Everett. "We had a few chances that could have changed the scope of the game but the ball hits the (post), what can we do, right?"

Striker Serlerpwe Htoo scored the lone goal for the Rams in the first half.

LCHS has a 1-4 record with two games left before the playoffs.

"We've had our ups, we've had our downs, we've got some disappointed players here but I think we did well," Everett said. "We'll improve on our stamina and try to finish off the game hard."
