The Lacombe General head into the weekend as the crown jewel of the Chinook Hockey League.

Not only are the Generals 6 points ahead of the second place team in the league, but they're still undefeated at 6-0 after a 3-2 overtime win in Innisfail last weekend.

With construction still going on at the Gary Moe Auto Group Sportsplex, the Generals will continue their campaign of road games this weekend in Stony Plain tomorrow night (7:30 puck drop), and Fort Saskatchewan Sunday (3:00 puck drop).

Generals forward Brandon Magee is in a 3 way tie for first place in the Chinook league's scoring race with 8 points, 4 goals and 4 assists.

Teammate Myles Bell leads the league in goals scored with 6 tallies.

The Generals first home action will be December 9th, when they welcome the Fort Saskatchewan Chiefs.
