Lacombe Rams quarterback Johnny Ericson threw four touchdown passes en route to a 39-28 victory over the Notre Dame Cougars on Friday night.

Ericson connected in the endzone with Tristyn Foley, Richard Jans and twice with Matt Darnell.

Rams head coach Jason Petrie called it the best game of Ericson's season. But he also had praise for the team's offensive line.

"Our line gave (him) a ton of time to throw the ball today," Petrie said. "As good as their defensive tackles were, he had time today. Our O-line played very well."

Lacombe's Jack Bahler added a 32-yard field goal in the third quarter.

Zach Schwab ran for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter for the Rams.

For Notre Dame, Aiden Vida ran for a pair of touchdowns, one of them for 73 yards.

As well, Wyatt Reefhuis caught two majors for the Cougars.
