Lacombe Dodgers continue their dominance as they move to 7-2 with a 10-1 win over the Red Deer Razorbacks last night.

Player-Manager Andre Touchette says he loved what he saw from the starting pitching.

“He was pounding the zone and not walking any batters, he was hitting his spots and when you can do that, it’s hard to get hits and it makes it easy for us.”

“He did a very good job.”

Touchette says when you combine good pitching with good hitting, things will most likely go your way.

“We’ve seen that guy (their pitcher) a few times so we know what to expect. We saw our pitches and had good at bats and we we’re fortunate to get the hits today and hopefully it keeps coming.”

Dodgers have a two week break before picking up play against the Innisfail Trappers on July 12.
