The U16AA Sting squad won their two weekend games.

The Central Alberta U16AA team defeated the Spruce Grove U19A 11-3. Goal scorers for Sting were Carly Cherniak with a hat trick, Kianna Doyle, Hanna Gill and Hannah Morrison each with 2 and singles from Megan Grubb and Hannah Murray.  Gracie Setters was in net for the win.
 
In their second game, the U16AA Sting came out ahead of the Calgary U16AA Impact 6-3.  Scoring for Sting was Doyle with 2 and singles from Cherniak, Morrison and Rachel Vandervlis and Colby Wagar.  McKenna Smalley was in net and faced 53 shots in the game.
 
 
 
The U19AA Sting were victorious against the Edmonton Elite Open A team 6-4. Scorers for Sting were Shae-Lyn Baxter with 2 and Sara Kelly, Emily LeMasurier, MacKenzie Lindholm and Brenna Parent each pitching in one a piece.
 
 
The three Central Alberta Sting teams will be competing in the Edmonton Wood Tournament this coming weekend featuring some of the top AA teams in Western Canada.
