Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) has announced the appointment of Erin Tisdale as Director of Education Services - Indigenous Education.

Mrs. Tisdale has been with Wolf Creek since 2004 where she started as a teacher and special education facilitator. Since then, she has been a teacher, acting assistant principal at The Brick Learning Centre and most recently as First Nations Métis, and Inuit Student Success Coordinator.

“Erin is a thoughtful and caring leader who is keenly focused on student well-being and success. We know that she will continue to bring these strengths into her new role, which will commence in August,” said Danica Martin, assistant superintendent of Education Services.

Mrs. Tisdale holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Education in Leadership from City University of Seattle.

“I am honoured and humbled to lead alongside our Elders and indigenous community in Wolf Creek,” she said. “Through heart and connection, I look forward to continuing to learn as we walk together in reconciliation.”
