FROM ALBERTA EMERGENCY ALERT

There is a wildfire NW of Nordegg (Wildfire RWF038)

Evacuation order remains in place for Snow Creek PRA, Dry Haven PRA, Centre for Outdoor Education, Fish Lake PRA, Frontier Lodge and Goldeye Lake PRA and area. Residents and visitors to the area are asked to leave immediately. Hamlet of Nordegg remains under 2-hour evacuation alert.

Residents and visitors in the Nordegg area are asked to be prepared to leave within 2 hours of being notified. Nordegg will remain under evacuation alert and Clearwater County distributed door-to-door evacuation alert notifications onto properties.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Evacuate immediately. The public is asked to avoid the area. Traffic control points in place west of Nordegg and east of the Bighorn First Nation. Travelers in the area of the evacuation are asked to drive through, and no stopping is permitted between checkpoints.

There is a wildfire Northwest of Nordegg .

Clearwater County is issuing an Evacuation Order for Snow Creek PRA, Dry Haven PRA, Centre for Outdoor Education, Fish Lake PRA, Frontier Lodge and Goldeye Lake PRA and area. Residents and visitors to the area are asked to leave immediately.

A 2-hour evacuation alert is also issued for the hamlet of Nordegg (North and South subdivisions). Residents and visitors in the Nordegg area are asked to be prepared to leave within 2 hours of being notified.

Instructions:

Evacuate immediately. Evacuees with holiday trailers/campers needing overnight location for lodging can relocate to the North Saskatchewan River Park in Rocky Mountain House located at 394024 Range Road 7-3A.
