November 8th - The RCMP are pleased to report that Marion SMITH was located safe and unharmed.  The RCMP is no longer seeking assistance in relation to this investigation.

The Wetaskiwin RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 74-year-old woman.

Marion Madelin SMITH was last seen in Wetaskiwin on November 1st, 2016, when she left her residence. Marion last spoke to her family on November 2nd, 2016 over the phone and there were no concerns.

Marion has not been heard from since.

It is not uncommon for Marion to travel in her truck, but she has never been away for this long without contact.

Police believe she may have been in Edmonton on November 4th, and 5th, 2016, where she may have been involved in a collision.

On November 6th, 2016, there is indication that she was in Lethbridge.

Marion is described as:

· 5’4”, 130lbs
· White, curly, collar length hair
· Blue eyes
· Wears glasses

Marion left home in her truck which is described as:

· 2002 Chevrolet Silverado
· Dark grey
· Alberta license plate BRS 1622
· After market, black, fifth-wheel tail gate
· May have from end damage

Police do not have a photo of Marion’s truck, but a photo of a similar truck is attached to this release.

Marion is from Ontario and there is a chance she may be trying to make her way back there.
