UPDATE: 

Cashtin Joseph (27), and Stanley Howse (49), both residents of Wetaskiwin, have been charged with one count of 1st degree murder in the death of Brian Dupe (63).  They have both been remanded in custody with their next court appearances set for Nov. 1, 2022, at Wetaskiwin Provincial Court.

Investigators have arrested Cashtin Joseph on the outstanding warrant for first degree murder of 63-year-old Brian Dupe. 

At approximately 4:15 pm Oct. 26, 2022, Cashtin Lee Joseph was located and arrested in Millet by RCMP. 

He was taken into custody without incident and will have a bail hearing in the morning of Oct. 27, 2022. 

49-year-old Stanley Victor Howse has been remanded into custody on a charge of First Degree Murder and is scheduled to appear in Wetaskiwin Provincial Court on Nov. 1, 2022 at 9:30 am. 

The investigation is ongoing and Alberta RCMP are grateful for the public’s help in identifying and locating the accused.
