RCMP have laid charges in relation to a stabbing that occurred at the Pigeon Lake Regional School on April 25, 2022. The victim of the stabbing remains in hospital in stable condition.

RCMP have charged a 16-year-old male youth with:

  • Attempted murder
  • Aggravated assault

The youth has been released from custody on conditions with his next court appearance set for June 1, 2022, at Wetaskiwin Youth Court.
