EnVision Manufacturing & Supply and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe and District recognized Isabelle Schaber and Kesaly Von Kuster this week who have contributed to their communities through volunteering as mentors.

Isabelle will be attending the University of Regina for a bachelor’s degree in social work. When asked about her experience Isabelle shared ‘My mentoring experience was one that I will never forget. From the very first video chat my mentee and I had; my heart was captured. My mentee and I had a blast on our video calls and even more fun when we finally got to meet in person. I couldn't have asked for a better match. We shared so many fun times together from running around on the playground, to playing board games, and teaching her how to play games I played when I was her age. I will never forget my time mentoring and being able to be a part of such an amazing organization.’

Kesaly is attending the University of Alberta taking a combined Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science. Kesaly shared that through her lifetime she has had so many mentors and coaches that have helped to shape her. When she had the opportunity to mentor it was an easy decision. Kesaly shared that ‘My mentee and I built a good connection. If we see each other again it will be happy smiles and memories.’

EnVision Manufacturing & Supply reached out to collaborate on two scholarships with Big Brothers Big Sisters. EnVision saw firsthand the impact the Colby Sackett Memorial Scholarship from Big Brothers Big Sisters had on Brenden Giese with how it supported and empowered him.
