During Penhold Town Council earlier this week the Tax Rate & Minimum Tax Bylaw received second and third reading and is now in effect.

The tax rates for 2023 will be going down from last year. The Municipal tax requirements have been reduced in 2023 from 2022. The provincial requisitions and demand payments went up. With the school fees and policing costs included, this year the average home will see an approximate 2.5% increase.
