Maddison Pearman wrapped up her last event yesterday at the Beijing Olympics. She competed in Women’s 1,500 Meter and Women’s 1,000 in speed skating. She ranked in 26th in 1000 meter, an 24th in 1500 meter.
It is no secret that she has made the community back home so proud! Our mascot, Sunny just had to take a photo with the beautiful display located near Ponoka Elementary School.
Way to go Maddison! Competing in the Olympics is no small feat!
