The students of Ponoka Secondary Campus have begun a 30-hour famine to help raise funds for the A Better World project. This year, they have chosen to support the Red Deer Alternative School Centre with food for their students.

Ponoka Secondary Campus Teachers, Mrs. Lapointe and Mrs. Hoffman will be supporting their efforts.  Together the group had a very engaging discussion on poverty worldwide and at home.

The students will spend 30 hours at the school with no food later this week. The 30 hours will end at 10:30 PM on Saturday.
