Blackfalds will play host to the Stronghold Armwrestling League Championships this Saturday, August 5th.  

Arm wrestlers amateur and pro will be competing at the amphitheater at the Abbey Centre. Classes include amateur and pro left and right, masters left and right, grandmasters left and right, women’s open left and right as well as youth classes.  

The Main event will feature three major matches including: 

  • Joe Fox vs. Marty Swanson for the Title Match: 199-225 right hand championship 
  • Glenn Weber vs. Brad Prins for the Title Match: Grandmasters 0-200lbs right hand championship 
  • Billy Berg vs. Mark Harrison for a Challenge Match  

A weigh-in will be taking place on Friday, August 4 at the Blackfalds Microtel and at the amphitheater during the championships from 9:00AM-11:30AM.   

The Championships will be happening on Saturday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
