Red Deer Lions Speed Skating Club are hosting a Short Track competition on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022.
Races start at 9 am and run until about 3 pm at the Kinex Arena, (4725 43 St., Red Deer). Anyone interested in checking out this sport is welcome to attend.
This will be the first race for many of the new members. It will also be the final short-track competition happening at The Kinex Arena as the arena is slated for demolition.
In 2023 speed skating club will move to the newly renovated G.H. Dawe Community Centre.

The Red Deer Lions Speed Skating Club has several programs, for recreational skaters to high-performance skaters, from beginner to Special Olympics, to world-class levels! The Club trains in both Short Track and Long Track.
