Red Deer City Council has selected a potential site for the future shelter in the City following a closed council session yesterday (September 12). The site is still subject to public hearing requirements and cannot be shared publicly at this time.

The site was selected out of 96 potential sites completed by City administration and narrowed down to three potential sites.

If the site is approved by the Government of Alberta, the City of Red Deer will share the location of the site on September 26.  Following that, the development will be subject to a rezoning and public hearing process.
