The Red Deer Rebels have now tied a WHL record for most consecutive wins to start a season.

In front of just over 4,000 fans the team improved their record to 12-0-0-0 with a 4-0 shutout victory over The Vancouver Giants.

In spite of out shooting their opponent 15-5 in the first period they ended the frame with just one goal.

With one more goal in the second and two points in the third, The Rebels put the game away.

Rebels goalie, Rhett Stoesser earned his second shutout of the season.

Because of The CFR (Canadian Finals Rodeo) and Agri-Trade coming to town, the team will now hit the road for the next nine games.
