Red Deer’s Kinsmen club is hosting their annual Red Deer Kinsmen Dream Home Lottery in support local groups, programs and initiatives within the area.

“We're helping the community, and there's tons of central Alberta organizations that have benefited from our wonderful, wonderful partners buying those Red Deer Kinsmen Dream Home lottery tickets,” said Blake Jackson, a member of the Red Deer Kinsmen Club.

Over the last 10 years, the Kinsmen Club of Red Deer has donated over $500,000 to local initiatives. More recently, the organization has donated $10,000 to the Outreach Centre’s Holiday Hope Radiothon.

“There are so many organizations that need help more than ever and so you, me, everyone who buys a dream home lottery ticket is going to be a part in helping with that solution,” he added.

This year’s dream home is a three-bedroom home called ‘The Viking’.

“This is a 41st Dream Home, Alair homes built it. Alair actually just renovated my whole house so I can tell you they do great work. It's at 388 Timberland Drive. It’s a beautiful house. It's valued at $810,000 with furnishings,” said Jackson.

Jackson says there is still time to participate in the Early Bird draw.

“You can start buying tickets for the Early Bird prize. The deadline is coming up on December 20 so you do have a bit of time for this one. Early Bird Prize is the 2022 Buick Encore GX all-wheel drive or 25 grand in cash,” he added.

In addition to the grand prize there are several other prizes up for grabs.

“There’s 170 Prizes to be won as well vacations, home rentals, exercise equipment. There's technology and cash to be won.  There is a 50/50 cash raffle, and that's always a big draw as well because everybody loves a 50/50,” explained Jackson.

Ticket cut off this year will be February 2, 2023 with the draw taking place on February 16th. For more information click here.
