Red Deer Hospice is looking for a little bit of holiday support.

On Christmas morning, the hospice facility which is located in the Anders Neighbourhood of Red Deer celebrates the holiday season with their residents and their families. They gift residents a stocking filled with an assortment of donated gifts. Residents can also enjoy a turkey feast and holiday music.

“Our goal is to give our residents and their families one last memorable holiday together,” stated Jerri Taylor, Red Deer Hospice’s Executive Director.

Currently, the Hospice Society has a call out for donations to ensure all their residents have a special holiday season.

“We are very grateful for our donors and the support we have in this generous community,” said Taylor. “We hope they consider our residents and their loved ones who are spending one final holiday season together.”

Red Deer Hospice provides professional nursing care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses and are close to the end of life’s journey. Support is also provided for families and friends who are preparing to say goodbye to their loved ones.
