Red Deer by-election advance voting now open 

Advance voting for the City of Red Deer’s first-ever by-election is now open.   

Advance voting days are April 18, 19, and 20, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., at Parkland Mall, Baymont by Wyndham Red Deer, and Salon B at the Prairie Pavilion at Westerner Park.   

The same voting stations will be open on by-election day, April 22, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.  

The city is holding the by-election to fill a vacant councillor position.  

There are 10 candidates in the running.
