Two nights in a row, two teddy bear tosses in a row, and two wins in a row over The Edmonton OIl Kings. It was a great weekend for The Red Deer Rebels.

Friday night, at home in front of almost 5,000 fans, The Rebels doubled up on The Oil Kings 4-2. It was the annual Teddy and Toque toss night for The Red Deer Christmas Bureau.

Saturday night, much the same, but this time in Edmonton at Roger's Place.

Red Deer went 3-for-4 on the power play and beat Edmonton 5-2. The 14,653 OIl Kings fans got to throw their Teddy Bears, but went home unsatisfied with the result.

The Rebels are in Medicine Hat Friday to face the Tigers and then at home Saturday against the Swift Current Broncos.
