On October 14, 2017 at approximately 5:30 pm Wetaskiwin RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at By The Way Liquor Store located at the 5000 block of 45th Avenue, Millet, Alberta.

An unknown male and female entered the store, male brandished a hand gun, demanding money from staff.

The employee complied with the demand and the male and female departed the store with an undisclosed amount of money and liquor.

The male and female left westbound on highway 616 in a light green colored Station Wagon/SUV similar to a Ford Focus.

The staff member was not injured.

The male is described as native 5’10” Large build, wearing sunglasses, black jacket and jeans and a grey with red brim Chicago Bulls hat.

The female is described as native wearing all black with a red Toronto Raptors hat.

No further information is being released at this time.
