Leduc Integrated Traffic Unit are currently on scene of several collisions on QEII south of Highway 2A in the northbound lanes. North bound QEII traffic is being asked to use alternate routes including exiting onto Highway 490 in Leduc County, Alta.
Icy road conditions are believed to be a factor and drivers are urged to use caution and avoid driving in the area if possible.
Motorists are asked to ensure they check for the latest conditions and plan their travel accordingly. Re-routes are to be expected if collisions do occur on major highways.
