From Ponoka RCMP:

The Ponoka RCMP, including the Ponoka General Investigation Section, with assistance from Maskwacis RCMP have recovered a stolen truck, seized methamphetamine and laid charges following a patrol in a crime ‘hot spot’ area.

On November 1, 2019 a Ponoka RCMP member located a stolen Dodge truck while conducting patrols in an identified crime ‘hot spot’ area near downtown.  Arrests were made in relation to the Dodge truck, and a search warrant was granted for the residence it was located at.

The Dodge truck, which was reported stolen on October 23 out of Stettler, has been recovered.

23-year-old Sarah Louise Alderson of Drumheller has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking. At the time of her arrest, Alderson was the subject of five arrest warrants out of Drumheller.

62-year-old Harold Robert Potts has been charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

50-year-old Alicia Janine Pastuck has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

38-year-old Jeffrey Lee Morse has been charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime and two counts of fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking.  At the time of his arrest, he was wanted on a warrant.

Judicial interim release hearings were held.  Alicia Pastuck and Sarah Alderson were released for court on November 8 in Ponoka.  Jeffrey Morse and Harold Potts remain in custody and are next scheduled for court on November 8 in Ponoka.
