From Innisfail RCMP:

This morning at approximately 12:30 a.m., Innisfail RCMP responded to a single vehicle fatal collision on Highway 54 and Township Road 360.   

Preliminary investigation revealed the car was travelling westbound on Township Road 360 when a collision occurred with a pole.  

The lone occupant, a 54-year-old male driver from Innisfail, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Innisfail RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the collision. The name of the deceased will not be released and no further updates are anticipated.
