Ryan Dodd, from Olds, has won gold at  the US Masters in Men’s Jump.

Dodd, who is the current world record holder and world champion, jumped 68.1 meters in the semifinals round and was the top seed going into the finals.

In the finals, Ryan continued his dominance by jumping 67.9 meters, securing his place at the top of the podium. The Canadian athlete only needed two jumps to win the event and did not need to take his third jump, coming in after his second.

Dodd’s win at the US Masters is just the latest in a string of successes for the Canadian athlete. He has been a dominant force in the world of professional jumping, setting the world record and winning multiple world championships.
