The Red Deer Rebels showed no signs of holiday "turkey legs"  Tuesday night, as they pounced on The Edmonton Oil Kings.

With three goals from Kai Uchacz, the home team cruised to a 7-1 win over Edmonton. Uchacz, now has 26 goals on the season putting him one back of league leader Connor Bedard.

Rhett Stoesser, was in net for the Rebels and stopped 34 shots in front of over 4,000 fans at The Peavey Mart Centrium.

The Rebels improved to 23-6-1-3.

They will have a busy week as they host Calgary tonight, The Oil Kings on Friday and The Hitmen again on New Year's Day.
