Multi-Department grass fire near Bentley

At around 12:30 pm, Monday, Eckville and Bentley Fire Departments were called to the scene of a fire just west of Bentley.

The grassfire was at the intersection of Highway 12 and RR 22, near the Medicine Lodge Ski Hill. Both fire departments were called in to extinguish the blaze on private farmland.

Eckville's side-by-side unit was being used to reach the fire on a hard to reach hilly section of the land. 

There is no word yet on cause of fire. No structures in the area appear to be affected.
