With the help of local schools, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lacombe and District, were able to get over 50,000 dollars to help with their programming costs.
The 2nd Annual Servus Walk for Kids Sake raised over $52,800. Servus Walk for Kids Sake ran from May 16th to June 9th at nine schools within Lacombe and district.
Servus Walk for Kids Sake is comprised of 10 different stations throughout the school yards that ask questions, present challenges, and creates fun! This year’s theme was superheroes.
The funds will support mentoring programs throughout 2022.
