A local author, Myrna Pearman will be launching her new book tonight (Friday, April 26th) at The Rimbey Library.

The book titled, Beauty Everywhere: Volume II is a sequel to Beauty Everywhere (2016). It celebrates the diversity and beauty of Central Alberta and beyond. Myrna will share stories while taking about her love of photography and fascinating details about the amazing but often underappreciated creatures we share this planet with.

Myrna Pearman, raised on a farm near Rimbey, is a retired biologist and an enthusiastic nature photographer, writer, traveler, kayaker and backroads rambler. She has authored and co-authored several books, and is a columnist for The Red Deer AdvocateNature Alberta and The Gardener.

Pearman is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS) and is an RCGS Travel Ambassador.  She is currently the Resident Naturalist at Mother Nature’s Seeds, is the Vice-President of the Red Deer River Naturalists, founded Nature Central, a program to document natural areas in Central Alberta, and regularly shares nature photos and commentary on social media.
