The Flags of Remembrance ceremony hosted by Veteran’s Voices of Canada was scheduled to be raised this Saturday, September 10 but now the ceremony in Lacombe has been postponed due to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.
The flags in Lacombe are unable to fly at half-mast at this time. The Lacombe Legion Branch #79 will host the ceremony following the Queen’s funeral.
The ceremony in Sylvan Lake will still will be going on as scheduled to begin at 10:00AM with the ceremony beginning at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 10th at Centennial Park alongside Lakeshore Drive.
